Lausanne lies in the canton of Vaud, whose official language is French (Art. 3 of the cantonal constitution). Patients from Vaud whose language is French have both the information call and the consultation in English. German and Russian are also possible, and the information call can be held in Italian, with the language of the consultation then agreed before the appointment. Every consultation is held by video with one and the same physician, so the trip to our practice in Zurich is not needed.

- Cann-L, the pilot trial authorised in the city of Lausanne, is a study for non-medical purposes (Art. 8a BetmG); participants must live in the canton of Vaud (Art. 14 BetmPV), and the trial has no part in medical treatment.

Common questions
Can the pharmacy be outside the canton of Vaud?
Yes, you may choose a pharmacy in Lausanne, elsewhere in Vaud or in another canton (Art. 26 HMG).
Could I have my appointments in German or Italian instead of English?
In German, yes, and in Russian too. In Italian, the information call is possible; the language of the consultation is agreed before the appointment. English simply replaces French, which we do not offer.
